I need some help with using a bow
I bought "Pulsar" maybe 2 months ago, and since then I've lost more animals than i shot with it. I have a range finder and a scope for "Pulsar" but the problem is whenever I lure that animals close enough I either miss or the animal gets spooked. I am using either the army camo or Doc's clothes, and I usually go for 20-30m shots. What do you think that I am doing wrong ? Any guides on how to use bows? Any help would be really appreciated!

I usually wear the Trapper outfit but Army/Doc/Boone & Crocket all work, the proof is you're getting shots at 20-30 meters. This is where any animal will spook, camo or not. Do you use scent eliminator? Are the animals moving? This creates bad shot placement especially when you first start using any bow. Try hunting from a tree stand till you get your stats up a bit. As Zig-Zag says try the shooting range, the one at Redfeather Falls near the Darkwoods lodge has a great one with 3-D animals at various distances and a little window pops up telling you your shot placement. It's called Archery Addictions Range. Make sure you're standing on the wooden firing range so you don't use your arrows up.

Sometimes animals might move and that is where i fk up. I am aiming as close as I can to their shoulder (but not directly on the shoulder) I don't use scent eliminator even tho I have 2 full bottles. But the worst thing that happens is when I "take" a breath while aiming and the animal starts moving towards me and 1 second after that animal starts fleeing
go redfeather falls map. darkwook lodge. you want a range finder and your bow.at spawn there is a shooting range.go practice 30-60m shots.

from side you want to hit just after the front leg near the armpit this will give lung/heart from side.

front on aim mid chest and practice hitting these areas.then go try on female animals.

actually camo isnt realy the biggest thing when you are sitting completely still, when i bought it i made more kills then ever before shooting them 1 after each other, i lure them while hiding in a bush and aim for the chest/hart/lungs, also you need to use scent killer

Okay, if you hunt at Hirschfelden, get a fall ghillie suit, a few calls, some deer scents, and scent hider. If you hunt places like logger's point, do what I said, except get a fitting ghillie suit, not fall. Scent hider is a must.

Perhaps this helps a little

Thank you all for your help I really do appreciate it. I don't think that i'll be buying any camo soon , but I definitely need to work on my aim. Because I kinda panic when I approach a big deer or a bear and I just want to shoot them asap, and that is where i miss their lungs and hit them in the stomach area

Think ambush,, when you spray or call, the animal will come straight to where you activated the spray or call, so move away about 20m left or right of point of ambush. try to find higher ground or put a tree, rock in between you and the straight on approach of animal. Lets say animal is north, so i call and move east or west 20m.
Hope this makes sense :)
