Does the Goose long range caller work better than the flag lure?
It seems more geese land with the caller itself than flapping the lure in the sky. I bought both accidentlly believing they served two purposes... Is it just luck or have you seen any changes regarding the two lures?
Also I only have 6 decoys right now so I know it's not always the flag/caller.

From what I have heard and seen:

The caller appears to be better solo, the flag is best when another hunter is using it while you're calling and the luring chance stacks.

I thought they were both equal - and have no reason not to think so - but they do stack so one of each is best if you are in MP

Yes, I believe their both equal I have had geese fly down while using both callers at once with no decoys.
they are supposed to stack if both used together if im honest i just use long range until geese break then short call.

If I am in MP and a player has the long rnage I will use the flag or vice versa - hope that makes better sense. If alone - either as as good as the other

They are both equal.
When I'm hunting on my own I use the long range caller for 3 or 4 blasts, then change to the flag. If I get any breakers I change to the short range.
I've tried just the flag and short range and just the long and short range before settling on this method.
To be honest I have no idea if any method works better than another!
As someone already pointed out, if there are 2 of you hunting then the long range caller and flag will stack, but not 2 flags or 2 long range callers :)

Yeah, I bought both not realizing they work exactly the same... I like the flag due to it being such a odd and interesting take on luring. I feel as if the long range works better but it can be pure luck I got 12 calls during an hour and got at least 4-5 responses from the flock breaking geese.
i prefer to just use long.

also in mp there is a age old sound bug with callers with other people calling and the sound just looping. to stop the looping sound if it occurs the one who called needs to call once more then it stops.

For me I use the long range caller, then when they start to land, I use the flag.

The flag is just a different version of the long range caller. The flag is easier to use as you don't have to keep clicking like you do with the long range caller, you just hold the left mouse button down till they start to circle, then use the short range caller to bring them closer.
