Best Time To Hunt or Hunting Time
I read wiki before and seems like, Deers and elks sleep between 8am-15pm. But When I create a game around 10 or 12 I hunt deer or elk as I hunt between 5am-8 or 3pm-5pm. Is there any difference ? And Another subject is that ''Canada Goose'' We hunt goose between 5pm-9pm means early morning but Some say that time doesnt matter. What can you say about these. Thanks and good hunting.

There are general times for different activities (eating, drinking, sleeping), but not all spawned animials of a species do it and not all exactly at the same time. Most of the times they migrate from A to B. There is no way to get a guarantee that at a specific time X you always will find species Y at place Z. But with much observation there is a chance to find certain hot spot for a certain species for particular activity. Say some lonely little pond meadow deep in the woods where there is a certain higher chance to find deer at a specific time generated through map topography and spawn areas.
But it's a 'grey' topic where you will not find much exact infos, just lot of oppinions. At least that is the conclusion I have reached about this. Not shure about waterfowling. I think that around noon flocks are a not as frequent as in the morning and late afternoon. Or at least at my specific hunting location for ducks in the swamp. It's a topic where truth and ♥♥♥♥-and-bull stories coalesce. Pretty realistic. ;)

I think about the same as you, no or very few facts, and a lot of opinions and beliefs.

On my side, I prefer to start hunting at about 8:00am, because i don't like to hunt when the sun is low, also the fog in the early morning is annoying me, at 8:00am, the light is much better in my opinion, though other hunters will tell you that deers are soon going to be less active.

About geese, I have read a thread a long time ago about a hunter who tried to estimate the best time to hunt them, counting flocks, and the result was a bit more flocks between 9-11:00 am and 1-3:00 pm, though there was not much difference.

So, in my opinion, hunting time is more a matter of preferences, so I focus on light and weather, but i can't say you'll harvest less targets if you don't hunt like me, so yes, i believe that hunting time does not much matter.

Time is important, I have spent hrs searching baron maps on nearly all the reserves. Sometimes just giving up altogether.
ive played this game for 10 years now and i can tell you i havent noticed any real difference regardless of starting time. so i always hunt at 11am mainly for the best visibility. there maybe small differences but not enough to warrant it over better lighting conditions. ive hunted at all the times and probably played 10,000+ hrs
