Duck Hunting..(Gadwall)

I am new to duck hunting.I have some decoys 12 mallard and 12 gadwall.I need Gadwall but am getting everything but lol.My question is, can I target Gadwall or be in a specific area that have more of them?Or is it random ducks everywhere?

I believe all species are random spawned throughout the reserve with Mallards and Black Ducks being the predominate species, Northern Pintails come next and at times are plentiful. The Gadwalls are the ones that seemed to be rare at times but they are still around. Listen for their calls as flocks come by and after a while you will be able to recognize them by hearing and sight as they are smaller than the Mallard, Black, and Pintails. If you have a Gadwall Call it will familiarize you as to how they sound but unsure if it really works to attract them. Best of luck getting those Gadwalls.

Gadwalls are the least common. Just gotta play long enough for them to show up. Easily recognised, they look white/yellow in the sky.

Hunting other duck species for missions or while waiting helps too. Most of my duck hunts that last for more than 2 hours end up being a gadwall horde against my last 6 shots of 12 GA shotgun as I cannot get out of the blind to restock.
