Adobe causes loss of gaming
Recently adobe flash player shockwave became obsolete. It was the mainstay of internet browsers for much of the last couple of decades and for that reason its loss has affected many multiplayer browser necessary games.

I have read till my eyes bleed trying to find out what a Pc buffoon like myself needs to do to get my steam games to work now that flash player is gone.

Can anyone point me to, or help me be able to play my Hunter Classic again. What did you all have to do?

All of the info I find online is either a year old warning about the crisis, or year old technical replacement or transition to html5, etc. Way beyond my technical ability.

How the heck do gamers using steam continue to load those games? Steam just tells us to seek advice from developers. Some of these games are old and their support long gone.

What the hell?

All my games are unplayable!

Are pc games losing to consoles so badly?

I have the same issue, but with some videos i like to see if they're to old (older content). Have not found a sollution about it. But maybe can find or ask something at the hunter discord channel, and/or at the discord channel of Lady Legend. Both channels have sections for The Hunter Classic and The Hunter CoTW.
And if give them some time, i'm sure someone will know a sollution in one of them, or both.

Flash was only a brpwser engine, to play browser games. Neither CotW nor Classic did use any Flash. Just install the games from Steam directly to your PC and you are fine.

Btw, Adobe announced the end of flash years ago, after practically all browsers denied executingit without the user confirming that he takes the risk and explicitly wants it. Flash was extremely vulnerable and opened for many backdoors into your PC since long. I really appreciate it is finally gone. The only ones to blame here is game producers who still used it instead of implementing an alternative when there was time.

Honestly, as much as I always appreciated browser games that used flash player, I have to agree with you. It's not flash player's fault, the blame goes on those game developers who continued to use flash for their games instead of finding better alternatives. I will still miss flash though, I have many great memories of using it.
