Your favorite hunting weapons?

Dear hunters,

On this forum you often see questions asking about the "best"weapons. I am interested in weapons you enjoy playing whether they are top tier or not.

After playing this game for a while, I have bought the "efficient" weapons like the pump-action shotgun, 7mm bullpup (tremendously ugly), tenpoint crossbow and the 9.3mm double rifle. But now I am eyeing some of the other weapons....
Which weapons do you have a soft spot for (maybe despite being less powerul/accurate/versatile than other options)?

Crossbow pistol it is the weapon for any turkey hunter.

i enjoy using the .30 R/O Break Action Rifle, any Muzzleloader, 12G side by side shotgun and any bow.

Ah yes the muzzleloaders are definitely something interesting to try out... As for the crossbow pistol Id rather save up for the anti-werewolf version. The sxs 12ga has also caught my eye. Were spoiled for choice!

Any bows will do for me :) Nothing feels better when u got 10 animals around you, and kill them one by one.

6.5x55 rifles. Both look nice. .45-70 for big game while .300 for long range shots or for getting the full harvest value in missions.

Bows are my favourite. Stealthy and can kill any species. In terms of rifles I like the .17HMR for hunting foxes.... Love the sound of that weapon and it's quieter than other rifles.

.30 O/U breack action, 7mm breack action. 10 ga if we are talking shotguns. Recurve if we are talking bows.

I recently got the .300 w/the 5.5-22x56mm scope. If you can see it, you can shoot it. You'll be able to spot animals out to the max render distance and put them down.

My favorite ones are 7x64, .22 and the regular wooden .243 rifle. Love to take small game down from distance.

i own all the weapons ingame ,my fav is 8 x57 ans for an all rounder ,340 weatherby for putting down those stuborn things , .17hmr and last but not least pulsar bow

I’m a bit late but my all time favorite is the 8x57 Anschutz. It has an amazing species list and is an amazingly powerful gun. A lot of people I know go for the 9.3 Anschutz, but the 8x57 is just ever so slightly smaller with the same punch and more availability when it comes to species. I want one for irl hunting so much but there are no stores that sell them near me and they don’t ship privately.
