I also like to hunt and apparently my competition entries fall deeply into archived files, like all my common gripes etc...
2) unnecessary option, as explained above.
3) you do not have to hide your trophies to replace them. in the lodge there is a drag and drop menu. just drag a better trophy on the spot you want it to be. the older trophy goes back to the inventory.
4) currently there is no full body mount for deer (including elk). you can mount an elk on the wall though (well, its head ;) )
5) every animal from every reserve you taxidermize can be placed in your trophy lodge. as i said before, you do not place your lodge in a specific reserve!
I noticed some reserves like Timberland have more than 1 lodge in the same spot and one is the size of a mansion and it says all trophylodges are the same?
See http://steamcommunity.com/app/253710/discussions/0/2741975115083264940/?ctp=2 and what the devs actually mentioned in the release as well .... the info was there already.
All lodges are the same as soon as you E to step inside them although the external view will vary from reserve to reserve
