Any tips for hunting sambar and rusa deer?

Any good spots for them? Because hunting sambar seems impossible without a caller :/ Theyre SO skittish! Anyone have some pointers to properly hunt them? I have 1 tree stand to aid me but no idea where to place it!

put a tent near the bridge up the top of the map. then spawn on it and focus around that area and edge of the border.loads of sambar and rusa.where i shot my last video shooting them.

I find a lot of them just hunting along the middle parts of the main river. Usually a 10am start at the lodge at the top end, or a tent placed where the swamps start then hunt back up. Hunting that mouintainous part in the middle is a bit more tricky without a caller and the right clothes. The river allows for more open terrain and easier shots, if you don't want to put money into callers or clothing. I use both methods. Good luck!

I had the same with banteng this week. Bloody cows are SO skittish and IMPOSSIBLE to get within range, even when crouching! I can crouch and sneak everywhere and they're still fleeing all over the place. While buffalo and bison just stand there and at you if you go near, and go into kill mode if you bump into them. I don't get why the banteng are so skittish.
