I just killed a Whitetail deer, but alas :)

Hey guys I just started Hunter Score 0 and little help would be appreciated :)

I just killed a Whitetail Deer, which is free for guests I shot him through both lung Harvest Score was 100.0, it asked me if I wanna taxidermize the animal I pressed No because it was the only option I have. I quit the game (hunting session) to see what I got but I didnt get anything for the kill, no money it and didnt even counted towards my progression in hunter rank nor as kill.

Do I need to go back to the camp? Or Am I so small level I cant kill deers yet even tho they are free? Because I saw pheasant was for level 3-5 :) Thanks for all help I can get :)

When you kill a Whitetail deer you get a few points for hunter score.
If you insta kill MALE Whitetail deer you get some score, if you hit it and it will run for very long your score gets lower.
If you kill FEMALE Whitetail deer you don't get score, because it's female.

Score from animal goes for leaderboards so killing females doesn't count for the leaderboards.

So your Hunter Score will change later, you just have to wait.

well you don't get money for a kill. There are some missions, you can do, to get money (gamemoney). So you can buy different eqippment, e.g. scent spray, or wind indicator and some others...All animals, you are allowed to hunt down, you can hunt, no matter what rank you have. By spotting or tracking an animal, you will get more experience points, so that you can see by the time the wight (level3) and later the scores of the trophy (level 5), your possible can get for the animal, you hunted down. To taxidermize a pice of game is interesting, when you have a trophy lodge, so you can hang those throphies on the wall or even put a game on a full- body- plattform. Hunting scores for the femals are at 100.00 points at its maximum, for an instant kill. For every confirmed kill you get a few hunting points so your hunting scores will progress by the time.

If you spot a whitetail deer at level 3 you get a information on a range of the weight, at level 5 you get information on the range of the thropy, each animal has it´s own tracking and spoting skills.

the harvest score is how good your shoot was, Instant kill with the right weapon, you get 100 points, but the harvest score has nothing to do with you hunterscore.

as others has writen, you can´t taxederm anything until you have don some mission, or bought EM$. sometimes the game is a bit slow on updating the Hunterscore.
