The best rifle for bisons or other Big Trophy?

Okay, I need help. I am looking for a rifle for large animals such as bison or banteng. Any suggestions?

My personal favorites are the .300 or 7mm for most everything except Water Buffalo.

I use the 45.70 lever. It will cover the Water buffs and Banteng as well as the Sambhur and Pigs . It has an excellent ring surround on the foresight which makes it easy to center for fast close range sight acquisition with the scope removed. Fast reload for charging buffs.

You will need a smaller rifle for the Rusa. they are the only ones that cant be covered with the 45.70 on Piccabeen.
7mm is a good option for the Rusa and Pigs but a little underpowered on Sambhur. I prefer the 30r because it is excellent for the Rusa, Pigs and Sambhur as well.

On Winterrime the 45.70 will do the Bison Moose and Polar bears, and the 243 for the Deer and Foxes. I use the grasshopper for the Hares.

You will get a lot of different opinions here, there are many combinations that will work and it depends very much on your own preference.

4570 is best for bison and other large animals

.340 weatherby with a good scope and get the 9.3*74R for backup and targets of opertunity.
