2 thumbs down on this item
"Please note that we are currently experiencing issues with Basic green backpacks (they are not visible in the inventory), we are working on fixing it as soon as possible."
What does that have to do with it

Just need some hunter orange for the dog, but I like the pink/purple for her hehe.
Yes, I see where you are coming from and in fact this was one of the options we were considering initially. However, we chose to keep the capacity upgrade as it is and make backacks completely optional, as we thought that some players might not want to have a backpack on all the time, while still retaining their carrying capacity. Right now a backpack is a pretty much vanity item, some like them, some don't, and you can choose to buy and wear one without any implications. But if you don't like them and all of a sudden are forced to have one on to have the function you used to have before without the actual item on your back, I bet we would hear a lot of complaints from that group. We simply went for the least intrusive way to implement backpacks, in order to disrupt the way players are used to play the game as little as possible, although I agree that we did sacrifice some meaningfulness that could have been added to this item.
How this was implemented was well done. I think there would have been a large amount of complaints if people were forced to show the backpack on their avatar.
The latest patch is exactly the direction I was hoping thehunter classic would go with the quality of life improvements. Excellent bug fixes, and a nice cosmetic option addition. Well done. The inventory load speed improvement was really needed. I hope bug fixes will remain a high priority development item.
Although a simple click box under the trophylodge in options to display packs or not would have acomplished the same goal ;)
AND Thank you so much for the update and all the fixes it is an extreamly good job
aaaaaahhhhh - now i see. i am very sorry of this missunderstanding!!!!
keep it going
My only confusion is how a backpack could add to the game's camouflage effect, if it is covering a camouflage jacket of the same pattern material. The possibility that the backpack could help in some way to break up the outline, would only come into play if you approached your target sideways, in a crablike shuffle, throughout the hunt.
If the addition of a camouflage effect is not to do with realism, but as a reason to buy it, fair enough.
