Dog not appearing in multiplayer? Look here!

Hello everyone,

I am currently investigating the issue that causes the dog to not appear in mulitplayer sessions despite you have it equipped. Currently I have not been able to reproduce the issue successfully on my end, so I would like to get more information about the issue so I might be able to pinpoint the cause.

How fast is your internet?
How fast is the host internet (If you know)?
Does this happen in as client or host?
Does this only happen when the host or anyone else have their dog equipped?

to day ı buy the membership pac. with the dog in steam. ı cant use my dog in multiplayer . please how can I fix it.

i wish i knew what to tell you other than to contact support@thehunter, i havent had any trouble with my dogs not showing up.

I believe it's about the host's wifi connection to the servers overall if it's good possible the dog will show up but if the host's wifi isn't great the dog doesn't show up I've had it a few times with my scent hound but overall he's appeared quite a bit

I had my dog not show up on DD33's server. The connections are all good. It seems to be a 10% failure rate as far as I can tell. Can't see a rhyme or reason for it or a pattern.

That is Caused by Server Lag or you Lagging to the host.. That cannot be helped. I seen this many times.. Just reconnect to Host in multiplayer. this is not you're fault at all.. its Lag from the host cause of Bad ping to the server.. If this However happens in Singleplayer.. then you have issues.. But I say Do nothing.. just reconnect till you see it back (Dog could also appear in different colors too, this is cause by the same issue; reconnecting fixes it too, depending on the lag to server). If it happens on every Server you connect to however.. then you're laggin on the internet, and you need to check you're connection on you're end. Hope this helps a bit.

I solved it . upgraded my computer. its ok now. I can enter any multi game with my dog host or gueast doesnt metter.

Dog not appearing still a thing I guess. Just joined a MP match. no dog in inventory to start, Added dog put tis gear on, left inventory and no dog! Dog won't spawn.

I can still use the dogs inventory, just no dog.

Dog appears most of the time in MP hunts.

Not tonight I guess lol.

But confirmed still a thing. Guess it was never figured out. Maybe next year ;)

No, keep this one alive. It's a weird one, as at my own house I can always get dogs in MP but at my GFs it's usually no go. The only thing that has changed is the internet connection... so why does it happen?

Got me. Most mp sessions I join the dog appears. But in some, just no. I cannot figure out a pattern. In your server Alf Tupper dog spawns fine. In DD33's server, dog spawns most of the time. It is really hit or miss. When I host a match the dog spawns 100% of the time. It is only when joining. Does not seem to be map related.
