Full controller support? not true..
Hi, this game is not playable with the controller alone, if you don't have a mouse you can't even start a game or load one...

Your correct, but if you dont have a mouse, how are you going to use your pc?

though with you saying that, it would be good to make it fully controller compatible, including menus :D

When i want only fun from a game i like to play use a 10m long HDMI cable and play in the living room on my TV.

This game is stated as "full controller support" and that for me means that you can do everything with the controller alone.
I know how to work around this problem (like using a wireless mouse) but it would be better if this game was really fully compatible with controller! (like the xbox360 version i think...)

1.7 version came out and it still DOESN'T have full controller support.
It's false advertising. And it's illegal.
You can't even exit options or use inventory. Full controller support means you can experience the game at full without need of keyboard or mouse from the first launch to the end of game (or getting all achievements for example).
Partial means controller works in-game, though some menus may require mouse or keyboard for some small things like text input or to select options. That's how Valve employee cleared out about tags at the time of Big Picture beta.
This game is not playable without mouse in any way.
Seeing this game is ported from xbox 360... yeah, good job.

We are dropping controller support, at least for now. Orginally we wanted to keep it as close as possible to the Xbox version, but people were really upset about the Xbox button icons. So since we needed to redo the whole UI to support changing resolution (which is one of the reasons this took so long), we decided to make one that was optimized for the mouse. We have removed controller support from the store page, until we have time to readd at a later date.

So make some people more happy by removing important features for others. Way to go. If some people really don't like your game and don't want to see it on steam, will you remove it from store? :D
You need to give choice - Xbox UI for gamepad players or UI for mouse players. So elitists who are scared by controller icons will be happy and so do people who want to chill in front of TV.
For example you've competely ruined the game for me. Thanks, much appreciated.

it is not false advertising the 1.7 update is a beta build. The stable or normal build still has most of the controller functionality still in the game. They only removed it for the time being is cause tons of people were complaining that the menu system was not with PC Bindings. So they released the new menu without controller support cause the limited time they had to make the new build. I know that they will bring back full controller support sometime in the furture. They are focusing there effort to please the moriarty of there audience.

I have played CMZ ever since it came out on xbox and even before it came out. I played CastleMiner and their other games. This company has put more effort on updating there games then any other company on the xbox indie game market place. I dont know why people are Complaining so much DigitalDNA first gave the game out for free on their website. Then they gave out copys to beta testers and they gave steam keys to people that got it through promotions on their website and now they even lowerd the base price to $4.99 . They are working on it damn people.

Just use xpadder if they removed the support. Then it would also work in the menus.

It's not about being ungrateful, they paid money and want what they're money is worth, they have a right to be upset, that doesn't make them ungrateful.
