"Potion" Door?
In the Basement/Engine room area, there's a door with a potion icon on it, and a mysterious unexplained purple force field that prevents you from entering. I haven't seen another instance of this force field anywhere else in the game--granted, I'm only 30% through. I literally can't find anything on this door, and can't figure out how to get past it. It's kind of aggravating. Why put a door there and block it off without any explanation?

What gives?

I initially thought it might be content not yet in the game, but 1. The game is supposed to be finished, and 2. I can see the "interact" icon behind the wall where the door seems to lead. Meaning there's an object in that room I can interact with (you can see it if you stand on the little plasma ball thing). So there is definitely something behind that door.

I think what worried me more than anything else is this: http://ahatintime.wikia.com/wiki/Hat_Kid%27s_Spaceship#Rooms

Notice how it has an entry on every accessible room (including the gallery), but NOTHING on the Basement (which leads to the engine room) OR the "potion" room. Yes, it's an unofficial wiki, but you'd think someone who had enough info to write that article would also have enough info to *at least* mention the door.

Anyways, thanks for the reassurance. I'll assume you're speaking from experience.

Ah, I see. I got past the door. It's not the most intuitive thing in the world, though, and the only reason I figured it out was because I took note of something that happens when you use the needed powerup concurrently with the *stationary* powerups peppered throughout the world (that are there in case you haven't obtained said powerup yet): they cancel each other out (like a 3D venn diagram). That mechanic caused me many falls and was quite aggravating.

So for other people, here's a hint: To get past the barrier, do what you do when you come across an intangible platform.
