Game-Breaking glitch on Xbox One (Black Screen)

On Subcon Well (Chapter 3, Act 2) every time i do that little parkour and enter the next part, when i fall into the water the screen instantly cuts to black, i can see the HUD, Menu, and i can move around but the sound is cut and there's just a black screen, i was able to get around this glitch after spamming the "LB" button for opening the hat's menu and after landing on the water i would walk to the front (even tho it still would cut to black) and after i skip the cutscene the screen would be back to normal, but 1 second after the cutscene it just cuts to black again. And i need the hookshot for the rest of the game (Chapter 2, Act 4/5?. Chapter 4, Chapter 1, Act 5, etc.) Remember that i'm playing on the Xbox One, i'm writing this here because there's no actual forum in there. I saw the A Hat in Time reddit and there were other people actually talking about this, and that they contacted the dev's a few weeks ago but nothing, help pls.
