Hat In time 2?

I'm a big fan of "A Hat in Time" and admire how they have created a great story and gameplay. However, the game was released in 2017, and now that we are in 2023, we still don't know if they are working on a new game, perhaps "A Hat in Time 2," which I would love to see.

Are there others like myself who would also like to see "A Hat in Time 2"?

Of course. But it depends on GfB if they want to make a sequel or not. Atm they are working on other projects. Let's hope they come back one day and make AHiT2.

And I'm glad they're doing this. I'd rather developers have the creative freedom to work on whatever they want to work on rather than having to make more games in a particular franchise or a sequel to a popular game out of obligation.

Not to say that I don't want to see AHiT2 because I do, but more so that I don't want the sequel to feel like a cash grab that is only made to capitalise on the success on its predecessor like so many sequels are today (especially with franchises like Call of Duty).

AHiT received a lot of love by the devs, and GfB only should return for a sequel if their hearts really feel to. Anything else would not be a game that will leave the same good feeling.

You should definitely check out Billie Bust Up when it comes out. It's the closest you can get to another game like A Hat in Time and Snatcher is even a Easter Egg in it.

as far I know they didn't make any another game all theses time.

What is this project? I remember chibi animal game was listed with breakfast studio but they delisted their name from that game after time.

Hat in time 2 would have been a natural choice after the first part of the game, but they strangely changed the concept to some other games, which fans don't even expect. If you think about how popular Hat in time is, I don't understand why?

I hope they come back to the idea of a sequel. The game has so much soul and challenge i just can't get from other games.
