Where or how do I get the Hookshot badge.

So...to complete a community time rift I spawned the badge just to do that stage,and I saw that in Subcon Forest Act 2 there are a lot of places to use it,I want to be legit,so where or how do you get it so I know when can I use it without cheating by skipping getting it?

As soon as you enter the level, there will be two paths. In one of them you can't do anything without the badge. In the other one, as soon as you enter it, the gate closes behind you. You get the badge by destroying an ice block with an explosive fruit and then opening the chest. You then have to use the hookshot to press a button at the top to open the gate and progress through the level.
