GameCube Controller won't work
Hello

I followed this guide, along with many others, in an attempt to get my GameCube controller to work with the game.

However, while the controller will work with the Dolphin Emulator, it doesn't seem to want to be detected by Steam.

There have been occational times where I'll move the analogue stick left or right and it'll respond, but it'll respond after holding the analogue stick for a second, but that's as close as I've come. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled several times, but nothing seems to be working.

If anyone could help me as soon as they can, I'd really appreciate it.

Does Steam itself recognize the controller and subsequently any non-dolphin games?

I haven't tested non-Steam games, I could try Cites when I get home, but other than that: no, Steam does not detect the controller, either does HiT (aka this game) despite the advertised support.

Try going into Big Picture>Settings>Controller Settings and make sure Generic Gamepad Configuration Support is checked. Though also check non-steam games too, just to make sure.
