what i think im trying to say is basically its a hard mode finale, its there to challenge you from everything you have learnt, trial and error is best way to defeat it
You wanna know how hard Death wish is compared to the rest of the game? I did Ship Shape on Death wish with peace and tranquility enabled, and even then I still struggled quite a bit. After finishing the EASY MODE of that death wish, I went back to the original chapter, and I did the Minimum Shippable Achivement on my first try. That's right, the hard achivement of a challenging level was a lot easier than the easy mode of the death wish, and without bonus objectives even.
Its just so heart breaking how much time and effort you put into the game, just for it to pull a giant "♥♥♥♥ you" and make everything you do worthless.
I see this alot but if you want your 100% save to stay like that simply dont install the dlc (im pretty sure the mode doesnt even count towards it, my laptop cant run the game during most missions so yeah) or just consider what that you dont need to prove yourself by doing it.
how i see it is that it isnt a big ol "screw you" but more or less them doing what they seemed challenging (its also called "death wish" for a reason)
I guarantee you that none of the developers have fully beaten Death Wish.
Developers don't test their games. Quality Assurance's testers do.
It’s no secret that death wish is hard. It was advertised as such. Think about it more positively. You were able to grow some skills to make the achievement that is probably, for this game, the hardest to obtain discluding death wish easy.. meaning you showed improvement and can do better.
I some people have weird issues with completing games and doing stuff they dont want to do to get this stupid 100%.
Edit: Nevermind. Today Peace and Trans. is an option. Yesterday it was not. Inexplicable, but it solves my problem. Closing the topic.
@others farther up in this discussion:
Say what you want about it being designed to be a challenge. Peace and Tranquility is specifically in the game to allow people who are not up for a tough-as-nails challenge to also enjoy this content if they want to.
I wouldn't bother asking were it not for the fact that Peace and Tranquility's effects, from what I've heard (Made it this far without them, somehow) can be rather vague and even unhelpful at times.
Oh well. Guess I'll make my own damn Peace and Tranquility.
