high CPU usage
Does anybody else get a pretty high CPU usage when loading the game or during any loading screen?
In my case my CPU usage goes from a normal 20 to 90%, not so drastic with the RAm which goes from 35 to 60% but its still a big jump.
So, again, does anybody else get a high usage all across the board?
In case anyone asks, my specs are an i5-4690k, a GTX 970 and 16 GB of RAM.

Yeah I got that a lot but I just recently found a fix for it.
Go into the graphics settings, advanced, scroll all the way down and disable shader pre-caching. This also made the loading screens get WAY shorter.

Nope. My system is a beast.

I do too, I have similar specs but yeah. Mine goes from 15-20% to 80-90%. Also, when i pause the game, my GPU skyrockets to 99-100%. It's never done this before, so yeah..

Just had this same issue, and turning of shader pre-caching definitely is the solution.
Thanks for the solution!

Edit: Didn't work quite as well as I first thought, but it's still an improvement.

Ryzen 5 5600x, 16 gb ram, rtx 3060ti, yeah it shoots up to 100% cpu usage each time it loads

I don't really get what people are expecting around this. The CPU usage is high because it's utilizing the CPU well to do the loading.

Yup, that's it, thanks.

I was facing the same problem and turning off the shader pre-caching as you said did the job, thanks.
