My idea of the rough path maybe originally going is that DJ put the Shapeshifter on the Owl Express to sabatoge Conductor's movie, and he would always win the award, which means you'll always fight him. I am assuming this because his voice lines in the trailer seem to hint him to be more cunning and underhanded, but now the same voice lines are just filtered and used for the nooses in Subcon.
The boss is also fairly neutral, featuring evenly attacks from both sides. Uses the disco balls, camera flashes, cars, and parade owls from Grooves. And from the Conductor uses the knife attacks, sawblades, and bomb timer.
But even that makes sense. As in the heart to heart he said he stole the bomb, and it makes sense with that line he would stole the other props from the boss fight as well.
Also the diary made it seem like she was some what legit shocked by the backstab. I think she is smart enough to have guessed the Conductor would have done something like that.
I want to know Is there different endings??
And considering that Conductor uses a larger DJ Grooves hitbox, you’re r pretty much right.
Nothing changes. The only thing that changes with the Conductor is voice lines and the set up of the stage and arena. Besides that, the fight and ending remains the same.
