The Attic Puzzle (Minor Spolier)

Hey guys,
When you finally gain access to the attic section of the ship you need to complete a short puzzle to gain acces to what I guess is the last/penultimate world, however I can't seem to figure out how to unlock the gate, there is a large cube object which I obviously need something to get through, any ideas what I am missing here?

I think use the Dweller Mask

If you're talking about the large purple swirly cube thing you need to use the Dweller Mask like ipbowen said.
