Battle of the Birds endings

So I've heard there are multiple endings to The Battle of the Birds depending on how many points you get The Conductor and DJ Grooves. What happens in each of these endings? Does it just affect the award ceremony or does it also affect the boss fight and level after the award ceremony? I got the ending where the Conductor wins, is super smug about it, you go back to the ship and get a call from the "murderer" from Murder on the Owl Express telling you to go back to Dead Bird Studios at night, then you infiltrate the basement/warehouse and beat the Conductor at a boss fight where he explains he needs a time piece to go back in time and win the 42nd award. I assume theres also an ending for if DJ Grooves wins and possibly if you somehow manage to get a tie between the two. Anyone get these? Just curious.

I had the ending where DJ Grooves wins and I had to fight him, because he wants to use a time piece to go back in time and win all awards he lost to the Conductor.

I had the conductor win so same, he wanted to go back in time to get the 42nd award (the one he doens't have)

The boss fight have prompts of both movies so i think the boss fight is the same

Question is, is it possible to get a draw if you manage to get the perfect amount of score for both of them? My friend was only one score away with DJ in the lead in his game.

It seems possible, You could also get the lowest score by avoiding pons, the Conductor/DJ Grooves heads, and the mission collectibles like the case files on the murder on the owl express

Getting a draw on points is possible, but if you do that the winner is decided randomly.

That might be tricky, as Train Rush is scored by time remaining.

What? I got a draw and I was 100% sure it was on purpose... They even say the results were rigged, or something.

In any case, yes... I got a random winner, although I can't remember if I had the opportunity to specifically pick one.

I'm not sure how anyone couldn't get DJ Grooves to win by default. I got way more points in his levels without even trying (and I don't want him to win!) scoring in the 800's on both of his levels.

Is there anyway to get more than ~676 points in the Conductor's first level?

I don't think that the first level gives points for time, though the second one does (the exploding bomb). The only points added at the end are Conductor heads (only found 2), pons, and # of evidence pieces.

I also don't have the Time Hat yet, strangely.

can you change which director you fight? I got the conductor and I want to fight DJ Grooves like in one of my other games but I can't.

You'd have to start a new save file or use the modding tools or the console commands plus mod to change the winner on your existing save.
