The boss fight have prompts of both movies so i think the boss fight is the same
That might be tricky, as Train Rush is scored by time remaining.
In any case, yes... I got a random winner, although I can't remember if I had the opportunity to specifically pick one.

Is there anyway to get more than ~676 points in the Conductor's first level?
maybe use the time hat and collect everything ?
I don't think that the first level gives points for time, though the second one does (the exploding bomb). The only points added at the end are Conductor heads (only found 2), pons, and # of evidence pieces.
I also don't have the Time Hat yet, strangely.
Try going back to Dead Bird Studio.
