Hat Girl's Name

Hat Kid doesn't have a proper name, not that I know of. It would be an interesting idea for a DLC or maybe even a sequel where Hat Kid must discover her own name. Of course, only the developers could do such a quest so it could be canon. What do you think of this idea? Feel free to discuss in the comments below.

EDIT: Of course, I am aware she is called "Hat Kid", but I meant a less generic name they could give her.

To tell you the truth, almost every single character has that sort of name, the only exeption so far being Queen Vanessa, Dj Grooves, and Snatcher.

Hat Kid's name is literally Hat Kid. Bow Kid's name is Bow Kid. Her signiture is made up of nonsensical scribbles, possibly a foreign language. The only internal media that hints at a name was a string of ARG videos that were declared non-canon by Jonas Kaerlev, which hints that Hat Kid is related to one of the ARG's protagonists, Lady Puella. Hat Kid is the only canon name the character has and will likely have as long as Jonas is at the helm.

I generally thought their name was Hattington (What I chose for Murder on Owl Express) or something punny like that. But that could borderline plaigarise Battleblock Theater with Hatty Hattington.

Hat Kid's Name is Heni. The ARG/Cut Story states this. A Character named Cavum calls her Heni on a couple occasions. I know the ARG is one thing, but it is referenced a lot in the base game, so I have to assume that's her real, unused name.

That's a very interesting answer, Cyan. Maybe they'll reference or use that cut story in a future sequel or DLC. Maybe they won't. If what you said is true, it's proof the developers were at least considering a "real" name for her.
