Edit: Issue fixed, it was just cluelessness on my part. Deleted mod folders in the game's files and it opened.
Well, I have a bit more information than that. The game is copying one mod to HatInTimeGame/Mods, and if I remove that mod the mod it copies just changes, the crash still occurs. Sometimes the game crashes after going fullscreen but remaining blank, other times it doesn't get past the launch splash.
If you would like the .dmp file the game put in Logs, I can supply that too. (I don't know Unreal, but I know things in folders called logs are often used for debugging purposes.)
I'm going to switch off of the modding support beta until I can solve this as a temporary fix.
That mod works for me but the hat is UGGLLLYYY
-tried deleting all local content
-reinstalled: same result
-tried version 1.0 : same result
I’m on windows 10. Everything on steam is working normally. Kinda disappointed, but hopefully this is being worked on.
Side note: runs on my Mac, but it doesn’t have a gtx 1070 :P
How do I fix it?
im using the modding support beta.
Is this an issue only I have or is this a known bug?

If you skip parts before the final confrontation with -END BOSS OF THE GAME-, the camera can get locked and make it hard to make your decision. (Made it a bit vague to avoid spoilers, but if you know the ending, you know which moment I'm talking about)
That's common issue, has to do something with Time Piece priority not going down if picked up already
- Ice Hat skins do not change Ice Statue form, it's always with basic skin on.
- Scooter: Hover Badge does not show proper animation. Hat Kid can fall from slippery wall into a scooter.
- You can hold quick hat choice and it will not disappear if you run into game ending situation (ex. picking time piece). The animation will play slower than usual until loading screen, music often desyncs.
If it uses Xinput, you should be fine. I used x360 then PS4 controller; both use Xinput and work amazing.
