Badge Tierlist

Not something we want, or need, but I felt like making it out of boredom. Feel free to offer advice if you think any of these rankings are misjudged.

S Tier

Hookshot - Pretty much essential, there's no reason not to equip it.

Fast Hatter - Reduces cooldown on Hat abilities, outstandingly useful.

A Tier

Scooter - BEEP BEEP. Can let you make further jumps.

No Bonk - Makes dashing into climable walls less irritating.

B Tier

Item Magnet - Only attracts Poms (as far as I'm aware.)

Hover - Stops you from taking fall damage every couple of seconds. Great for areas like Mafia Town that have a lot of sudden drops and cliffs.

C Tier

Relic Finder - Finding all of the relics isn't required to 100% the game, and they don't provide the player with any real benefits.

D Tier

Mumble - Purely aesthetic.

1-Hit Hero - Puts you at an extreme disadvantage, only suitable for 1-life related challenges.

Beam - Makes you immobile for as long as you charge up your attack. Bosses are too fast paced for the player to remain immobile, and outside of boss fights the weapon has no real use. There's no reason to equip this badge whatsoever.

Beam may be D tier in terms of usefulness, but in my book, its *top tier* for being really friggin cool.

Same reason why the Scooter badge is ranked higher than it should be, personal bias for how awesome it is.

Scooter can let you make jumps you otherwise couldn't. Mandatory for speedrunning as well.

Hover is pretty useless since oyu can just double jump before oyu hit the ground.

Don't you need all relics to unlock all time rifts and therefore to get all hourglasses? That being said, I found all relics without using the badge for it.
