Flies around the mumble badge
There are two flies flying around the mumble badge, Im not sure what this means, so far my only guess is the devs really hated having to incorporate this badge into the game so they put that there as a subtle way to show their distaste for it

Flies means that you're not going to get any benefit gameplay wise. Same goes for 1-hit hero badge which also have flies flying around it.

Nah. It was a kickstarter stretch goal to include it in the game and its a little nod to Banjo's voicing. It means its a "terrible badge" as the badge vendor says. "Yet people still buy them anyway."

They also say that about the normal ones.

the only reason i would see someone getting it is for completionist bragging rights

yeah, like the 1-hit badge (though obviously to a lesser degree), the mumble badge is an active detriment because it takes up a badge slot that could be used for a buff
