Game will not run on my Mac
I hit launch game, and it says it is running but nothing opens up, then I open up force quit and it says the game is not responding. I want to be able to enjoy this game but at this rate I will be reaching out to Steam for a refund.

Have you tried looking at the specs on your system to make sure it can run? Do you need to update something???

Nope. It will just stay on my Finder Screen, nothing will open.

All up to date, and I have more than enough room to run it.

Gonna post this here as it just worked for me and I've been going through dicussions trying to find a fix. This was my method

Okay I finally got mine to run. I'm gonna share the process with you all. Bear in mind achievements will not work this way nor will controller support but you can at least play the game.

I'm currently running mac OS Sierra 10.12.6

Here's the process install the game through steam normally.

Once it finishes find it in your library and right click > Properties
Then go to local files tab > verify file integrity

Let it run it's course it should take a few minutes

Once that is done start the game upon startup for the first time it should ask to move the game to the applications folder. Click yes, and move it over.

Now open the program from your applications folder. Upon startup it should ask if you want this program to accept incoming network transmissions or whatever it says. Decline and start the game it should take a minute but this worked for me.

If that doesn't work try installing it and moving it applications then verify the integrity again. It should redownload everything and then you can uninstall it from steam.

I don't know if that helps or not but it was something I did while fiddling around.

Currently the game runs but it doesn't get more than 30 frames for me. Turn everything way down, and no controller support but this does work for me. Hope this helps some of you. Game is pretty cute so far.
