- Joel
No good... modern audience storytelling has to be blunt and direct and leave no room for interpretation or otherwise 'gamers' that play your game will think something like JOEL IS DA GOOD GUY when he is in fact all that is wrong in the world by the fact that he's... WELL NUFF SAID ;)
Or in game 3 Mario wakes up and it's a mushroom induced hallucination / fever dream
But the activist wants to display a Strong women and have more Trans characters so we got this Story instead.
Hey I hear you brother and I agree but the game wasn't about catering to the core gamer's preferences now was it?
I agree with his decision it would be idiotic to give up your surrogate daughter to be killed by a dodgy group in hopes of finding a cure. If it had been something less dramatic like drawing blood and having her stay there for x amount of time... something reasonable but killing someone to maybe help others is... not just stupid but ethically wrong.
This 2nd part is done in bad faith with the assumption that Joel was 'morally wrong' when he obviously made the right and only choice.
when Joel killed that black lady, she said "let me go..." and Joel responded "no, you'll just gonna follow..." and shot her.
Which meant there are No More fireflies and they were the last of them. But no. Niel decided hey, FFF that. let them follow Joel and Elly to have a story to tell
Stupid just stupid
