But the logic is as follows:
You ask the doll which door the other doll would select. If the doll is telling the truth, then it'll pick the wrong door, because that's the one the liar would have picked.
If the doll is lying, then it will still pick the wrong door, because the other doll can only tell the truth, and as such the lying doll would have to select the opposite.
