Is there a way to ((Chapter 2 spoilers))
Save Liz? My first time through, I didn't know the answers to the last two questions that she asks you about what she said. I went back through my LP videos and she never mentioned those details.

I am guessing if you keep asking her to talk about herself, she reveals those. Then you can prove you were listening and stop her from killing herself. I didn't, because I was thinking she might be a parasite. I also suspected Doctor X as he looked like the figure I saw after blowing out the candle. Doctor X killed me and said he would have let me go if it wasn't for Liz.

So is there a way?

Nevermind. I answered my own question. I went to shoot the next video and realized I had a save right at the important part on the roof. I guessed and chose the correct two answers and saw what happened.

That scene always gets me to tear up, not sure why. I feel so bad for Liz, she's such a sweet girl, but deep down beneath it all she's suffering. Whenever I hear the song that plays on the way there, "Edge", it reminds me of her and is gets me all choked up again.

Love your avatar, btw. ;)

True, I felt bad because I didn't trust her and then that happens. She really was a kind person that people just walked all over and used and it pushed her to the edge. I can really relate to how she feels in a lot of ways.

Thanks! Steins;Gate is awesome.

*spoiler alert*

In the later part when you are taken to Dr. X's 'lair', you will find Liz pinned to the wall at the far right. After examining her, Suzan will remark that it looks like she's been dead for longer than a few days, and contemplates that she might have been having a vision of Liz from beyond the grave. I think that makes the most sense, because there isn't any other explaination as to how she gets the blood on her clothes suddenly. Also, Dr. X tries convincing you that you didn't see Liz, and later says he would have let you go if you hadn't known about her (ie, if you didn't know he had killed her).
