- This one was quicker to do so they could release it in January to kick off the 30th Anniversary year and the Remaster Project (they've already confirmed more Tales remasters are coming)?
- They had the source code for this one and may not have the source code for Abyss (or have the inferior 3DS assets only meaning that Abyss is a much larger undertaking than Graces F)?
- Abyss is older and is a bigger undertaking, requiring a larger team with more Tales devs rather than being outsourced to TOSE like Graces f was?
Just a few of the possibilities, might be none of them, might be a combination of them.
If you read some Chinese reviews for this remaster, people say the Simplified Chinese localization is not so good.
Might as well mention that both Vesperia and Berseria have language related bugs, which remain unfixed. Vesperia crashes in Team Tournament when playing in Russian and Berseria hangs up in the fishing minigame when playing in Traditional Chinese. So, they have to do a lot of language related quality assurance testing. It remains to be seen if Graces has any language related bugs.
