input bugs
Launched game, and it is unplayable. The menu freaks out as if there is a constant down arrow input.

Even unplugging ALL of my input devices does not stop this behavior. Any ideas?

Xbox style, PDP the pro 2.

In my case the game is unplayable because has stutter all the time, FF XVI is working perfect for example. But this game has some problemas. Even in the home menu you can see stutter all the time.

should mention the issue occurs even with the controller disconnected

I am having this issue too. Using an xbox controller but it does it even if the controller is disconnected. I have also launched the game with the controller disconnected. And this occurs with or without steam input enabled. I think it is safe to say it isn't the controller.
Has anyone found a solution to this?

Did a bit of further testing.
First: it seems to be stuck the Up or W keys and also the Right or D keys. I managed to spam click my way into the options menu and was able to confirm that much.

Second: It is an issue with the game itself. I unplugged my l keyboard and my other control devices were either my mouse, which shouldn't be able to cause this issue with its current layout, and my Razer Tartarus Pro, which I configured a layout to have all inputs disabled. Literally nothing attached that should be able to cause this. So it seems something is happening in the game itself, not the actual controllers or inputs.

I have also restarted Steam and reinstalled the game. Didn't help.

I heard a few fixed the issue by uninstalling vJoy.
I am using an Xbox controller but I also have a Razer keypad I use for other games. After unplugging the keypad it seems the issue goes away. I'm hoping they patch this soon if it's a game issue. It always seems that rpgs with multiple controller input have this issue

Right click on the game on your steam library and go to preferences.
Go to controllers and disable steam input.
That fixed it for me (i use an xbox360 controller).

I did that but my Razer keypad for some reason was still conflicting with my Xbox Controller in some menus, specifically the save/load menu and keybind inputs.

Uninstalling Vjoy as reccomended by jdulzo fixed the issue for me .

So it looks like it was the Razer gamepad. But the reason unplugging it didn't fix it before was that it seemed to be having a waird interaction with one of my flight sticks, the older cheaper one. When I unplugged that AND the Razer keypad it fixed it. And it is still fixed even with the flight stick plugged back in as long as the Razer keypad is unplugged.
If I had to guess it has something to do with things that might be able to count as a joystick. Especially since the Razer device was overriding my xbox controller dpad and joystick inputs as well.
