Report a translation problem
This is definitely not the expected behavior, though it could be caused by a number of things. First, does this happen with all projects, or just one in particular? Second, what type of content are you editing (Camtasia Recorder files or imported media files)? Lastly, what framerate are your source files (Camtasia currently has a 30 FPS cap)?
While it is an editor it can struggle with massive cuts/edits to a project; it is a limitation of its 32-bit nature. Fortunately we will be updating Camtasia to a 64-bit architecture in an upcoming release which should significantly reduce this type of behavior.
I am curious, you do restart your computer often? Try rebooting the computer then running only Steam and Camtasia to see if you can at least produce the file. If not, head to our website (TechSmith) and open a support ticket. In the Subject/Description field, enter "ATTN: Robert." That way the ticket will be immediately assigned to me and I can work to get this squared away for you.
Thanks!
Don't you find that weird
There could be a number of issues, from corrupt Camtasia settings/projects to conflicting applications. Did you open a Support ticket {LINK REMOVED}(TechSmith.com then click on Help - Technical Support) and put "ATTN Robert" in the subject so I can actually determine (and hopefully, address) the issue?
HELP
There are a number of things; first (Trial Mode), if you purchased a Steam subscription for Camtasia Studio then you should not be in trial mode. If you are then we need to investigate why; in order to do so we need to look at diagnostic files and go from there. Second (Rendering Issues), crashing during editing or rendering could be anything; there could be indexing applications like backup software, search indexers, antivirus/security applications that are conflicting with Camtasia; there could be corrupt Camtasia settings that could be causing this behavior; there could be conflicting hardware (Bluetooth, audio interfaces or Wacom) that could be causing this behavior; there could be issues with a recent Windows update; there could be driver-related issues; there could be issues with the source files or the specific projects that you are working at. The issue is that there are too many possibilities to provide a single catch-all answer and, given the inability to transfer log files (from Process Monitor), Camtasia Studio diagnostic files, system information files, etc. in a public forum, there is little that we can do to troubleshoot. By opening a support ticket through our website we can actually get to the bottom of the issue and get you back on your way to creating content.
it will only crash if one of the video file did not render in camtasia.(sorry i cant speak english well)
@techsmith plz fix
