Greetings from Team Tapas!

The v1.1.0 update is now available.

This update introduces a new endgame challenge called Fearless Mode and a new Outfit System. It also includes official Russian language support, a custom translation feature, an update to the Original Soundtrack DLC, improvements to gamepad controls and the UI, and various bug fixes.

We originally planned to release this update in mid-to-late September, but development schedules and the addition of the custom translation functionality caused delays.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and apologize for the delay.

※ Updating to v1.1.0 will reset any runs currently in progress.

We have added a new endgame challenge called Fearless Mode.

In Fearless Mode, you must clear every Challenge Mode one after another in this sequence: Main Story → Epilogue 1 → Epilogue 2 → Epilogue 3.

Weapons, Spells, and Special Skills used in one segment cannot be reused in subsequent segments, so it is essential to plan which part of your Armory to use in each segment beforehand.

After clearing each segment, your progress is saved, allowing you to continue from where you left off later.

Your score is determined by the selected difficulty and options.

The base points for each difficulty are as follows:

• Story: 10 points

• Normal: 20 points

• Hard: 40 points

Enabling additional options applies score multipliers:

• Disable Invincibility During Dash: ×2

• Enable Hardcore: ×2

The more challenging the conditions, the higher the score you can achieve.

You can enable the Hardcore option in Fearless Mode.

With Hardcore enabled, being defeated or quitting the game will reset your Fearless Mode progress, requiring you to start over from the beginning.

You can unlock a new outfit by achieving 40 points or more in Fearless Mode.

A new Outfit System has been added, allowing you to change Sil's outfit.

New outfits can be unlocked by progressing through the story or meeting certain conditions.

The following outfits are currently available:

• Sil's Clothes

• Maid

• Explorer

• Pajamas

Some outfits can be obtained by progressing through the story or as rewards from Fearless Mode.

Russian has been added as an officially supported language.

The Russian translation is based on the work voluntarily created by Wanderers (HVKeyn, Vessel30, rocketnotsofast). It has undergone linguistic quality assurance (LQA) by our existing localization partner before being officially integrated into the game.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Wanderers team for dedicating their valuable time and effort to bringing Russian language support to the game.

A new Custom Translation feature has been added, allowing players to use their own translation files in the game.

You can use this feature to add languages that are not officially supported or customize existing translations to your preferences.

For detailed instructions, please refer to Language/Readme.txt in the game's installation directory.

10 new tracks have been added to Garden of Witches - Original Soundtrack.

We are currently preparing to add a total of 20 tracks, including music from Epilogues 1–3. Of these, the following 10 tracks have been released in this update.

• 26. Damp Breath (Maydel's Swamp Theme)

• 27. Teeming Wilds

• 28. Blighted Effigy

• 29. Between the Lines (Storybook Theme)

• 30. Bizarre Bazaar (Desert & Caravan Theme)

• 31. Veiled Chambers

• 32. Azure Peril

• 33. Lapis Warden

• 34. Inverted Hearth

• 35. Silent Reflections

Additionally, to accommodate the track order of upcoming additions, the track numbers of the following existing tracks have been changed.

Previously

• 26. Dream Weavers (feat.Elluna)

• 27. Dream Weavers (Inst.)

Updated To

• 46. Dream Weavers (feat.Elluna)

• 47. Dream Weavers (Inst.)

We have improved gamepad input handling and deadzone processing.

• Improved how deadzones are applied to gamepad stick inputs.

• Updated deadzone handling so that the in-game deadzone settings are consistently applied to gamepad stick inputs.

• Reduced instances where minor stick inputs or repeated input device detection caused the displayed control prompts to rapidly switch between keyboard/mouse and gamepad.

• The Challenge Mode selection screen now displays your Best Record for each mode instead of the recommended level.

• Fixed an issue in Epilogue 2 where the restoration button could appear for Crafted Artifacts that had already been restored.

• Fixed an issue in Epilogue 1 where the upgrade button would remain visible even after reaching the maximum upgrade level.

• Immediately after taking damage, just like with Weapon attacks and Dashing, you will no longer be able to use Spells for 0.3 seconds.

  • This change prevents certain Spells from unintentionally activating multiple times immediately after taking damage.

• Fixed an issue where certain attack patterns from the Mirror Witch could still damage the player after the boss had been defeated.

• Fixed an issue during the Mirror Witch's final attack pattern where dashing outward while the arena was shrinking could allow the player to move outside the combat area.

• Fixed an issue where Ambush could activate twice in succession if the player took damage under certain conditions during its activation.

• Fixed an issue in Epilogue 3 Challenge Mode where certain effects could be accumulated before a specific battle began.

• Fixed an issue during the Contaminated Seed battle where visual indicators for the wall players needed to escape through might not display correctly when attack patterns became faster.

We previously announced plans for a Boss Rush Mode, but after testing the mode internally, we have decided not to add it. Our tests showed that it would be difficult to create a mode that would deliver the level of enjoyment we had hoped for.

However, we are still developing and testing our other previously announced content. We will share more details once our development plans are ready to be announced.

We will continue to review your bug reports and feedback and work on further improvements following this update.

Lastly, we’d like to thank everyone who has patiently waited for this update despite the delay and for continuing to play the game and sharing your valuable feedback.

Thank you!
