Hey everyone,

Development of PARKSIDE has been progressing fast, and about a month ago I finished working on all of the main weapons in the game. So I thought I'd make a quick video showcasing them all! (Not including throwables like grenades, knives, etc...)

I want to like this game, but

the total lack of saving combined with the sensitivity of hostiles and squishiness of your character just stops me from wanting to explore. How are you supposed to explore when every explorable environment is full of enemies- who you then shoot- which then triggers level wide police activity. The level design is so cool but I'm not going to want to explore a sewer when fighting the bandits ♥♥♥♥♥ me over for the rest of the level, and if I whiff something I have to start from square one? I understand saving...

Hi everyone, this is a brief post to let you all know about the latest development roundup video for PARKSIDE!

The video is a compilation of clips posted to X/Twitter from May to September this year, showing off what I've been working on in the game.

New features that are shown include a checkpoint-like system (yes, those of you who were upset about no quicksaves can relax now!) as well as new weapons, creatures, environments, QoL and other features. There are also a few funny glitches from development to watch!

Crashes

Game keeps randomly crashing for no reason at all. Any way to possible fix it? I really love this game but i literally cant go past the first mission since it keeps crashing each 5-20 minutes of gameplay :(

Funny game but

Seems like a good game but please do like cruelty squad and add a marker on people that need to be killed for the mission, or tell us more than just oh he is in the large building down the street, bro there are building everywhere how am I supposed to find the target....

Looks good... but..

No invert mouse look, no re-assign keys and 1680x1050 resolution lacking. Hope you're considering adding those options in at some point? Apart from that looks good!

this sucks

this game is if you took cruelty squad, took out all the meaty parts, and then made a bland ass shooter with no saves with its artstyle. The guns are weak, the kick is ass, the sounds are pathetic and the story is pretty dumb. this entire game needs a makeover or else it`ll just be another trash indie shooter...
