if they are so mediocre, surely someone will use them? they are not good, but also not bad. just right in the middle. i use some of the season reward boosts from time to time as i find it refreshing. i might use these if they bring something new to the table as they kinda do look like they do but people are so quick to judge nowadays that it frankly makes me want to vomit

Yes, it does.
The season didn't end yesterday, nor is gonna end at a later time today.
If people knew what to expect, they might know if it's worth the grinding or not.
