Sounds like an issue on your end.

Some games run better on Proton than they do native on Windows since it has no Windows OS overhead. I have zero performance issues running it on Steam Deck or my laptop using Arch linux.

as everyone already is aware, you lie. on my steam deck RL lags a lot. maybe you dont see 30 fps as laggy. maybe you are correct, some games do run better, but in my experience RL doesnt.

Linux support still doesn't equal "support" through compatibility layers. It's not official.

You know thats ridicolous. Proton isnt attached in any way to Epic and Epic dont gave one minute effort for Linux Support. So you cant say it has Linux Support. If its run on Linux, its not because Epic supported it, but cause the work of other people.
(And thats the official position of Epic too, so i really dont know why to debate this.)
In this logic, you could speak from Windows Support für MarioKart because of emulators. Its BS. Sorry to have to be so hard, but if you want to keep any credits, you should be great enough to see your own failure. You are human, thats ok. But as a mod, you have to act more trustworthy.

WIndows overhead has nothing to do with it since the overhead created by an emulation layer (Wine/Proton) is far greater then the overhead you have running natively on Windows. There are a LOT of factors that could make it run poorly on Windows, but overhead is not one of them lol. As for my experience with RL, it will always run better on a properly maintained Windows setup then an Linux distro. I get a stable 265 fps on Windows but haven't managed to break 160 on any Linux setup running a 2060 with an i7-9700k.

Who cares, if you can't trade, the items lack any value. Thanks you buried this game for me, it was about time.
