because rocket league is greedy, just like cs go. i mean you are not even getting a "new car" with this decal, its the same STOCK car that you get from the stock game , just with a "star wars" paint job
Where are the stunning goal explosions, like a death star flying out, or the falcon, or Vader's tie fighter battling an x-wing? How about a saber duel? How about cars flying into the sarlac pit followed by a giant belch?
How about Yoda using the force to lift an Octane, Dominous and Fennec? How about a group pose with all the big stars?
Where are the boosts, the trails, where are the SEVERAL anthems, not this rediculous NON anthem that makes me want to put earplugs in? Where are the wheels? Where is ANYTHING?
There's nothing here except select decals and 2 toppers, a lame wheel or two, I mean it's almost nothing visible or noticeable.
What a massive humiliation for star wars and rocket league fans. So much could have been done with this. Unbelievable.
I will just never understand the devs of this game, or maybe it's the management I guess.
This game's potential has left the building.
Time to put down the pipe, guys. This is an EPIC FAIL.
i dont wanna be the guy who says "why dont you do it yourself", but rather: why dont you join the art team or something similar? we need more people like you with bigger ambitions, not whatever this is.
So the state of the art graphics software with all of its' automation these days is basically useless for this job? It all has to be painstakingly done manually? I would think that software these days would be able to automatically adapt to new shapes with minimal assistance?
And there may be 140 cars, but I bet 20-30 or so are used by 99% of the players. I mean, I don't see that much variety in the games I play. It would be nice to see them expand it to more than 3-4 cars.
And as for inventory, sadly, the devs have almost the worst design you could possible have aside from a "one folder holds all" approach.
I'm still PO'd that I'm limited to 50 presets. I have now reached my absolute maximum where I can't create anymore without overwriting one that I don't want to lose. We pay the money, and they DON'T deliver. /sigh
40$ for timed exclusive Skins?
Impossible, perhaps the archives are incomplete.
Literally the only thing that would be worth 40 bucks is either John Williams Binary Sunset or Duel Of The Fates as goal music.
it's free now though... so i mean...
(the game, that is)
nowadays people think game developers or whole studios, needs nothing but praise because they spent their precious time on making things. They just thank them for trying instead of just straight up telling them "no one asked for this, if you choose to do this though please at least make an effort to make it worth the money"
the mentality of people towards cooperations nowadays are so askew. Like, i expect these people to buy an IKEA table, notice there's missing a leg, and just go "oh well, but at least most of the table is here"
I have nothing against Star Wars at all. But i have found that it is becoming more and more obvious that Epic games runs the show, wayyy less than psyonix does unfortunately. At the very least, that is how it feels. (Lucky they haven't tried to change the games mechanics (yet))
