"Chat disabled for X seconds" after only one or two quick chats

Looks like a recent change, and sometimes it only takes one quick chat to trigger it. Heck, even if I congratulate a teammate with a "Nice shot!" the disabled chat sometimes extends so long I can't make a call for kickoff! Kind of ridiculous and I can't imagine this can be anything other than a bug. Someone fat-fingered the throttling parameters, then released it without testing perhaps?

It sometimes extends for almost 10 seconds too. I can't recall it ever being more than a few seconds, and never after one message.

I'd ask Rocket League to fix it, but we know how they are about fixing bugs. :D

Better to report it properly to support - go for example to help article: https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/rocket-league-c182/reporting-bans-c198/how-do-i-report-a-bug-or-glitch-in-rocket-league-a10381
then read through and contact support by clicking on Blue "Contact Us" button at bottom, login with EG account, fill info and at best include logs + unlisted YouTube video.

Yeah, no way am I creating an Epic account just for that. We know there's 0% chance of them fixing anything anyway so why waste time and give them more data?
