Switch Pro Controller No Longer Works In-Game

For some reason, my switch pro controller no longer controls anything in-game. I have steam input turned off for Rocket League. The controller is able to navigate big picture mode just fine, and the button troubleshooting page shows that every button works, but nothing happens in-game. The only thing I can do with the controller with rocket league open is open the steam overlay. Mouse+Keyboard work fine. Any ideas?

Did u already try to use the steam input and see if that one gets the controller to be recognized?

after that, if nothing is still working, install BetterJoy for Cemu:

its a simple program allowing the controller to be easily recognized in games.

I did try using steam input and it wasn't recognized. It's weird because I've never had this issue in the past, I've been playing with the same controller and computer for years on Steam. I'd prefer not to have to use a 3rd party tool, considering Rocket League claims to support my controller natively...

unfortunately that controller is not natively supported in rocket league:

if u do not want to install third party programs, maybe use it wired (if its now connected through bluetooth).

Any chance that link is specifically for Rocket League via the Epic Games launcher?

that image probably says that steam itself with the controller configuration supports it but at the end the game does not.

the best guess is that, if the controller was working fine before, on rocket league, on steam; you could simply try to play around with the settings in big picture and luckly find a way to male it work again.

otherwise third party programs solutions.
