For me it's before the last driver nvidia update, and after last windows update (i don't install nvidia app, only driver), and I can play the game generally. There are instant crash, only 2, without errors on screen, but only in the event viewer. I use Bakkesmod too, but it's not a new thing for me. But Rocket League usually never crashes, and that seemed strange to me. I have been playing it for many years.
You can try look straight for RL report details which usually can show reason of crash/not responding : On Windows open Control Panel - Security and Maintenance - Maintenance - Reliability History (Monitor) - View all reports - Search for Rocket League and View Details - Double click to open report with recent date/time when game had recently issues (if you have more reports click on "More"). Line 'Faulting Module Name' could say most about issue.
Steps are for Win 10, Guide with images how to get there on Win 11 https://www.elevenforum.com/t/view-reliability-history-in-windows-11.5791/ - for example Faulting Module Name may show at best Bakkesmod.dll or plugin name
And apart of Reliability History you can also check game logs in Documents - My Games - Rocket League - TAGame - Logs folder, text file Launch or Launch-backup = at bottom few lines
If you don't really understand alone then upload image on imgur.com or text on pastebin.com
The first time, instant crash, error was related to "EOSSDK-Win64-Shipping.dll".I read on the web that it concerns epic games services\client. I launch the game with steam because I've had the Steam version since the early years, but I know very well that the game connects to the epic games server\services.. But this error has never happened and in recent days I haven't touched anything related to steam, epic or anything else. Not even bakkesmod. The second crash, with freeze of 2-3 seconds, so not instant like the first, was related directly to "rocketleague.exe - APPCRASH". No hardware error or other things. Last night I played 8 games in a row with bakkesmod closed, and I had no problems. But even the day before, with bakkesmod open, the crash no longer occurred.
