Performance issues RTX 4090 (S17)

Since the release of Season 17, I’ve been experiencing significant performance issues. I noticed some discussions about console performance, but the problem isn’t limited to that—it’s happening on PC too.

Here are my system specs:

CPU: Intel 14900K (with the latest microcode updates installed)

GPU: RTX 4090

RAM: 64GB DDR5 @ 6000MHz

Storage: KC3000 M.2 (7000 MB/s read/write, used for games)

No other game has performance problems on my system. Its primary use is game development, so it’s always running at its best. I maintain it meticulously, cleaning it monthly to ensure no issues arise during development.

Despite this high-end setup, my FPS drops dramatically—from well over 1000 FPS down to 100 or even 30 at random moments—while my system doesn’t even seem to be under heavy load.

This clearly isn’t just a console issue.

are you using bakkesmod by any chance?
any possibility the system is using the integrated graphics instead of the dedicated graphics card?

No, I don’t use BakkesMod.
And no, I always disable the integrated graphics chip for the same reason I keep my system clean to avoid any unwanted problems during my work in game development.

having the same issue here with pretty much the same exact build (voyager elite) from Starforge Systems, literally just got this thing and Rocket League is the only game having issues. I had a 1060 GPU before this that had less problems... this is RIDICULOUS

It's weird that all these high end PCs have been having performance issues surrounding Rocket League, how odd.

Yeah, I know, but I noticed today that the new S17 boosts are causing problems.
I did a fresh install of Windows and cleaned everything up just to be sure. Everything was fine, and I had some good matches until I got into a game with someone using the S17 boost. At that point, my frames dropped significantly.
