if u want, u can still try to send me the game session logs, I can give them a watch.
past them on pastebin.com and send me the link to that file.
if you dont know how to gather logs, here are the steps:
- Click the Folder icon on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen
- This will open File Explorer
- Click on Documents in the left column
- Double click My Game in the center column
- Double click Rocket League
- Double click TAGame
- Double click on Logs
or simply to try contact the official support here:
https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/c-Category_RocketLeague
from that file I can see you are using bakkesmod so make sure to disable it while trying to see if the error persists.
also, I can see that the game is unable to access some of the main epic services.
that may be related to multiple reasons and there is no global fix for that.
I can also see that the game is having issues recognizing the save file and attempts to create new non-corrupted ones multiple times after trying to read them.
my advice at this point is to:
- fresh install windows with an usb drive from bios using media creation tool.
- after that, reinstall all of the system basic drivers and updates from windows updates.
- make sure the system clocked is synced correctly.
- install rocket league but dont do the same with bakkesmod.
- create new save files following my yt video tutorial:
https://youtu.be/GK5HbRYY_3c
- try to launch the game again.
edit: i said at the beginning that i had already got the game on my laptop, and when i downloaded and played it on my new desktop computer, the issue started happening. at that point, i had rocket league set to auto save to the steam cloud. because the issue is also occurring on the laptop, it is definitly a steam issue and i have already tried resetting my PC. i'm not sure there's much hope if as you say the steam cloud files are permanently corrupted as a result of the steam cloud automatically saving corrupt files into the cloud
what I meant is that - if you have corrupt save files and create new ones without first disabling cloud sync, that wont fix your issue as those corrupts files keep getting created.
if u disable cloud saves and then create new save files then its all good!
its okay if u deleted it, nothing to worry about as it only contains:
- Replays
- Training Sequences that have not been uploaded
- Video settings (Resolution, Max FPS, etc.)
- New User Experience Completion (Intro cinematic, Intro match
the rest as:
- XP, Levels, and Titles
- Inventory (all Items)
- Matchmaking information (ranks, skill rating, etc.)
- Game settings
- Presets
- Statistics
- Uploaded Training Sequences
is stored on the servers.
so as I said, if u really want to try fix your issue, follow this message:
