rank disparity when within 3 rank

im plat 1 he gold 2. correct me if im wrong that with in the 3 rank gap(was this change, every google search says 3 ranks), sometime we can play together other times its rank disparity. like last night we get off able to play together in a 2-man group in 3s and today we cant play with neither playing any games since last night

If that happens you can try leave party and create new or restart game, however if that won't help especially if someone is using Bakkesmod it can cause bug with Rank Disparity from what I read.
Rank Disparity should be only triggered in Party of 2 players for only 3v3 Competitive and 3v3 Tournaments.
