Block feature doesn't work?

Hey,

So, just like always, I do tend to block players who do throw matches by leaving them early, score own goals, do type immature messages into the chat, etcetera..
However, this feature doesn't work for me anymore?

Even if I wait a few seconds to block the player, nothing happens. The player isn't blocked, regardless of the player being on Steam or on Epic platform, or wherever else. It simply doesn't work.

Is this yet another problem on Epic's end and their servers, or is there some sort of a limit of how many accounts one can block?
Not that it does matter a lot to me at the current moment, but it does matter for the future me in case of wanting to queue up with some players, you know? I'd absolutely hate to queue up with players who'd then, all and out of blue, start throwing tantrums left and right and disrupting the fun and competition within the game.

That's fine by me and I'm aware of that.
I was asking, if anyone wouldn't know the reasoning beyond being unable to block anyone?

The feature has used to work just fine, dunno how long ago was the last time I've used it and it has worked.
All I know is, clicking on the Block boxes doesn't block the users for me, which is the exact opposite of what should be happening.

Like I have already answered, I'm not denying nor disagreeing with that; I'm complaining about being unable to block players anymore. and I'd like to know the reason why's that being the case.

so you press block and he can write in chat and you see it? i dont think there is a blocking limit

I don't know about them chatting, but pressing the block button doesn't mark them as blocked, nor does it offer me the option to unblock them, leading me to assumption that they're, indeed, not blocked despite me clicking the button to block them.
**Oh, as for the quick chat - That one is always visible, even if I attempt to block them.. Though, that one is different from the normal chat, right?

I can't come up with any better logical answer than the block limit.. Since I haven't received any official answer as to why such a thing occurs.

You won't get an official answer here. I don't personally use the block feature at all. So I don't know if there is a limit.

Better off contacting support if you want an official answer on if there is a limit or not.
