I am all but ready to lay down rocket league for good. I also had the issue about 8 months ago and it went away after a week or so... but now it's persistent and is making the game unplayable for me.

For Audio issues try to look here or disable Windows Spatial sound :

Otherwise try to submit ticket :

Possibly attach all Logs to ticket too :

It plays fine most of the time, but every now and then, the audio and the controller cutout for a bit, which obviously screws with me if I'm in the middle of a game.
I think it may be related to the USB cable?
(Using DS4Windows)
EDIT: It was indeed the USB cable. After swapping it out with a new cable, the problem disappeared. Perhaps the connector loosens over time? And the controller is sensitive to that?
Audio completely cuts out, and controller input sometimes goes along with it. Both are bluetooth connections and NEITHER has ever occurred before.
This is a RL problem - not a windows problem.

That's why it never happened until the latest RL update, right? Never once in YEARS of playing until the latest update - and NEVER with any other game.
That must also be why other people are complaining about it happening with USB connections, because USB = Bluetooth?
I've been using a DS4 for well over 6 years. Don't feed me this "it's widely known" nonsense, particularly when your 'evidence' is someone complaining about an Xbox controller which I don't use.
To summarize:
My BT signal is as solid as it gets. I'm sitting 3' away with direct LOS to the receiver.
I've been using a DS4 on windows via InputMapper (see previous remark about BT signal strength - I CAN SEE IT IN REAL-TIME) for several years.
Other posters specifically mention using USB. USB is not Bluetooth.
This doesn't happen with any other game. Ever. Not once.
This only started happening with the latest RL patch.
This is a RL problem. Not a BT or Windows problem.
could it be discord somehow interfering with the game? idk
there is another glitch i encounter it happens when there is a team game, the over lay that shows the team name, something like (team vitatlity vs nrg) will be on screen as the kickoff countdown is going and i wont have controls when the kickoff starts, this glitch has been going on for almost a year now [ defenitely a glitch within the game as the mouse will be on screen with the overlay team 1 vs team 2, the mouse should not be on the screen at all during a game like i said this only happens in team games at the start of the game]
That points to it being a Rocket League problem, not a Bluetooth problem. Especially considering it ONLY happens with this game and no other. Only the game audio for Rocket League, and the controller cut out at the same time, but not my audio for the music I am listening to through the same headset...
