Title screen not loading (only background)
One of the last update broke the game. As i could see it happend to more people already.
I already tried to rename the Rocket League folders at Mygames (steam savegame sync has been disabled before) and also verified that the time is synchronized with the microsoft timeservers (i always have it set to auto).

After playing the tutorial again, the screen fades to a black screen showing nothing anymore.

Come guys.. Why do you force people to get pirated versions of a game by forcing updates that breaks the game. Since psyonix sold this game to epic i am not able to play online anymore too. There came always errors with communicating with steam servers.

Currently i am only able to play games using rlbotgui. This tool is able to start matches. But the main menu doesn't work at all.

Since you're never too sure, I'd suggest repeating the two easiest potential fixes here:

  • Delete your game's Cache located in Documents\My Games\Rocket League\TAGame
  • Delete the Rocket League folder again, in case the previously recreated save was bugged

Logs also show multiple command lines being used on startup, so try to open the game without them (or only the one you would absolutely need somehow).
  1. Go to your Steam Library
  2. Right-click on Rocket League
  3. Click on Properties
  4. Go to the Launch options tab and edit the command lines there

Other post had a somewhat similar issue and got it fixed by unplugging some USB peripherals.

If none of these fixes work, you can try Epic Games' troubleshooting article on game crashes[www.epicgames.com].

Renaming the Rocket League folder already removes the cache location. So this has been already tested.
Also removing the launch parameters makes no change. Only the intro logo video is back again.
