My Level Reset When I logged In????????
I played earlier today and I was level 67 and I just logged back in and was level 1. I see my ranks in Ranked play are the same, but my level rank is reset? What can I do to fix this? I tried turning off Steam Cloud Sync and re-entering the game and that didn't work. I am not sure how to fix this issue. I'd hate to think I can't get my 67 levels back :(. Any help appreciated.

All of game data gone ???????????
I played 5 minutes ago and everything was fine. I restarted my computer and all of my data has been wiped.

My thread right below yours says the same thing basically! I have contacted them about it and they said they can't do anything on their side, since everything is saved locally. Basically saying, you have to start over.

i dont see the issue just reinstall takes 30 mins

@United Kingdom thats one thing I haven't tried yet. I do have a clean backup save file, but the main issue is that even if I replace my save files with the clean one, when "Steam Cloud Sync" goes off after I quit the game, when I re-enter, it resets everything except my level and ranks in ranked play. I got my level to actually carry over, but nothing else does. The clean save file has everything in it, it just gets over written when I sync it, and I'm not sure how to prevent that. Maybe the re-install will get rid of the files on steam cloud and therefore I can re-install and have it upload my clean file? I'm not too sure. Lots of people have been having this issue lately.

Does that mean i can easily hack back to 35 back by just changing my saves locals?
I Thought that my acc profile is saved on official servers..im back to lvl 1 but i keept all my items

its possible this game is the first time developers have used unreal engine so it is possible that they made a mistake by keeping the level up system saved to local instead of being uploaded

*Lost progression (level) and settings data today, anyone else?*
Hey,

So today I played a few matches, all good, quit the game and after a few hours I booted it again for a trade.

First weird thing I noticed was the TOS, which appeared before I got to the menu, although there was no patch since I last played the game. Then I got into the menu and I saw I was level 1, with a stripped car and no Garage presets were saved.

When I got into gameplay I noticed settings like camera adjustments/audio levels were also back to default.

Anyone else seen this happen and have any idea why and how to get them back?

To note that the inventory is intact, I have everything there I had before, so it's just progression and settings, not sure if these things are saved locally and they just got deleted by the game from some bug.

I see posts from at least 2 other people with this problem, is this a new bug introduced by the patch?

I created a backup off my laptop, and it was my level 67 which was unfortunately reset on my desktop when I synced it with steam which messed it up. I deleted the files locally on my desktop and transferred my clean file from my laptop. I then turned off Steam Cloud Sync for Rocket League, and everything was there and working. It only messes up when it syncs with the cloud, which is odd, because when you quit the game, it syncs anything you did in-game that isn't already on the cloud, which then should be uploaded properly, but it doesn't for me.

It used to until recently :( I never had this issue before Rumble honestly.

OK so I did a few more tests, the above I mentioned weas on the work PC, I came home to my PC, where I had last night's saves (I had disabled cloud sync at work to not have them screwed as well), and I played a game, so the save was newer, and tried enabling cloud sync again to have them become the synced saves again (being the most recent).

It appears this does not work, the sync resets my saves to ones that don't have any changes to settings I made, and no Garage presets, but I did not lose the progression like it happened at work, my level remained the same.

I'm not sure if this is related to the cloud sync system, but that one clearly doesn't function properly either.

For now, I will continue playing without the cloud sync enabled, and probably backing up my saves every day until I hear of a fix for this being implemented.

Lost my level after Steam Backup
So today i decided to do a fresh install of Windows 10. I did a steam backup of the game which worked fine, i have all my garage and unlocks. The only problem is im now a rookie! I was nearly level 43 with 196 hours played so this is disappointing.
Is their anyway to get my Expert level back?

Yes, I totally agree on the whole not enabling Cloud Sync. I have contacted Psyonix and they basically said they can do nothing for any saved data due to it all being saved locally and not their servers. I did how ever re-contact them about how to wipe your Cloud files so you can save fresh ones and they also said that you would have to contact Steam. The downside is that a lot of people are having this issue but yet there is no fix for it? I have over 1100 hours played, I would be extremely upset if I didn't have my 67 levels. Luckily, my laptop wasn't connect to cloud sync at the time for me to have a clean file.
