New item none bug
anyone else getting this. Seems to pop up ever time I come out of a menu. Hope that helps devs.

Do you mean that sign showing next to 'Manage inventory'?
Maybe unopened Drops ?

Or can you rather provide Steam screenshot or image uploaded for example through https://imgur.com/upload ?

Hm, very odd. I don't think I heard about much or at all about it.
It seems it has one of symptoms of corrupted data "New item notifications that won’t go away" but I don't think it's worth to do it if you don't have any other symptoms or issue.

Did you submit ticket? I did share it to Psyonix.

Just gonna try verifying the cache now and see if it fixes it. It surely is a strange bug though, surprised no one else has made a claim.

I'm sorry to necro this post, but did you get a solution for this? I've had this issue for over 10 months and it causes other issues that actually prevent me from playing.
Psyonix support has no idea what the hell is going on and just keep telling me to do the same troubleshooting over and over again..

Hey. It is fine to "necro" post when you have something constructive to write or when issue was not solved, or when it is still relevant with current game state.

I ave some update that it could be caused by Bakkesmod or its plugin/s, are you using BM?

I just was in Official RL Discord server https://discord.gg/rocketleague in channel community-support and guy wrote this:
"removed bakkesmod, don't show none anymore, just a bakkes bug (surely a plugin that interact with it weirdly), not rl one so no need of ticket"
- however he had issue with this after opening Uncommon drops.

Haven't used Bakkesmod in 3 or more years and made sure to purge any files related to it when I removed it. At this point pretty much everything has been done that can be done locally. Nothing helps.

Sorry then. Only thing I can still think of is what i wrote before - that it has one of symptoms of corrupted data "New item notifications that won’t go away".

So by things done locally do you mean this as well ? - Maybe better explained now:
Close game, disable cloud saves on Steam and rename folder :
Steam Library - Rocket League - Untick keep game saves;

then rename Rocket League folder in path Documents - My Games (e.g. to Rocket League Old) :

After that you will need to complete tutorial.
You will lose some things stored locally such as Replays and Trainings which you can recover later from folder Rocket League Old - TAGame - Demos and Training folders

Video settings (Resolution, Max FPS, etc.) which is stored locally will be reset as well :

Yeah, that's the latest troubleshoot method that I've done. I've deleted all the files regarding RL (I have backups), but after the tutorial is done I'm greeted by the notification which I either can or can't get past of. I can play through Epic launcher with another account, but this isn't really a solution as all my items and cars are of course on my actual account.
